" When Words are not Enough" art therapy is a treatment based on strengths and interests to address concerns. Conducted through art-making and story-telling, art is seen as a language and viewed as self-talk, bringing insight to beliefs and behaviors, while empowering children beyond treatment sessions.

My focus includes working with the families of children and adolescents, ages 5 and older,  who present with a variety of presenting challenges including students who have been diagnosed with autism or other developmental disorders, coping with a serious medical condition such as cancer, and those who are experiencing grief and loss issues because of the death of a parent, sibling, friend or another significant person in their lives.

I am a certified trauma therapist (CTT), using the Instinctual Trauma Response (ITR) protocol developed by Drs. Louis Tinnin, MD and Linda Gantt, ATR-BC.  I  specialize working with military families.
